Our story
How we got here.
We spent years on the front lines of application security, watching the gap between security and development widen — AppSec teams overwhelmed, developers racing to ship.
In June 2023, four co-founders launched Heeler to close that gap — security built into how software is actually made. Then AI changed everything: code began shipping faster than any team could review it. Our answer was the Context Engine: one graph that unifies six dimensions of context — code, cloud, business, ownership, threat, and agent — so every prioritization, guardrail, and fix reads from the same shared model, not its own silo. That's how we make security automated, scalable, and fast enough to keep pace with AI-driven development.
